Thirty years is a long time to listen to skin.

For more than three decades, Melanie Pickett has practiced medicine as both science and stewardship, caring for patients through the many ways the body signals when something needs attention. Throughout her career, she has guided patients through moments of uncertainty, relief, and understanding — experiences that have shaped her calm, thoughtful approach to care.

At Vincennes Walk-In Dermatology, Melanie brings a combination of clinical precision and genuine empathy to every patient visit. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and holds national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

While her training provides a strong medical foundation, what many patients notice first is her reassuring presence and steady professionalism. With decades of experience, she approaches each concern with patience, clarity, and respect for the individual sitting in front of her.

Melanie evaluates and treats a wide range of dermatologic concerns, including:

• Skin cancer screenings
